01What we collect
Account data: your name, email address, password (stored hashed) or Google account identifier, and the time you accepted our terms. Listing data: everything you enter about your business, including its address and map location. ChatGPT data: the question someone asks about local places, the assistant's reply, and a rating and comment if they choose to leave one. We do not receive a ChatGPT account with any of this. Technical data: IP address, browser, and the pages you visit, kept in server logs for security.
02Why we use it
To run your account and listing, to send transactional email (confirmation, password reset, important account notices), to keep the service secure, and, only if you opted in, to send the MyBudy newsletter. We do not sell personal data.
03Newsletter
The newsletter is optional. You can opt in when registering and change your mind at any time from your account or with the unsubscribe link in every issue.
04Sharing
Your published listing is public by design and is shared with AI assistants and search engines. When ChatGPT searches, we return the listing's phone number, street address, and website to the model, but only the fields you filled in, so it can answer and show the place card. Personal account data is shared only with the providers we need to run the service: hosting in the European Union, Resend for email delivery, Google when you sign in with Google, and, for paid plans, Stripe for payments.
05ChatGPT
People can ask about published listings inside ChatGPT. We store each question and the assistant's reply in conversation_history so a follow-up stays in the same conversation. That record is not linked to a ChatGPT account or a MyBudy account. If someone explicitly asks to rate a place, leave_review saves the rating from 1 to 5 and their comment, if they gave one. The review is anonymous: we do not receive or store a ChatGPT user id, name, or email with it. The business owner can read it.
06Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It is strictly necessary and set only after you log in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
07Retention
Account and listing data are kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days; published listing data may be kept in anonymised form. Questions stored in conversation_history stay so later questions in that ChatGPT conversation can use them. Anonymous reviews stay on the listing until the listing is removed. Server logs are deleted after 90 days.
08Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, object to processing, and complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania. Write to team@mybudy.app and we will respond within 30 days.
